Cody Freeman piloted his 02 C&J Energy Services 600cc Micro Sprint at Gator Motorplex in Willis, TX for his opening race of 2013. The team all performed as well as they could and made a lot of improvement over the night. Cody finished 4th in his heat race resulting in a 4th place start for the feature. What was an excellent start in the feature resulted in him getting out of the groove going into turn 1. He washed up the track and settled into the 6th position. He battled it out with the 5th place car and tried several different lines on the track to try and get around. However at the end of the night he finished in 6th. Cody showed he could handle the car and wasn't afraid to drive it anywhere that he seemed fit. For his first race with very little seat time in any type of suspension car he is showing vast improvement already.
