While Cody is vastly improving behind the wheel of the 02 C&J Energy Services, Casedhole Solutions machine he still has a long ways to go. He made the trip to Battleground Speedway where not only did he face a new racing surface on a track size and dirt type he hadn't seen before but he faced vision and nose wing issues during the feature. He adjusted well throughout the night but still started on the last row for the feature. Before the green flag of the feature he did get a little to close to a car in front of him and damaged the nose wing on his car pushing it upward and could only slightly see over the top of it. He raced his self up into the 6th position before a car went off the track and came back on the track causing the car in front of Cody to check up where Cody made contact with it damaging the other side of his nose wing and allowing a car to get under him. On the restart he had an infraction for passing before the cone on a restart, which resulted in him being penalized by 1 position from where he started. All said and done he finished in the 8th position at the end of the night. He stayed patient and we are extremely please of him and his efforts. A special thank you to C&J Energy Services, Casedhole Solutions, MPM, Driver Websites, and Team 91 Motorsports along with all the friends and family that continue to support and follow us.
