Freeman Facing Final Test at Mountain Creek Speedway This Saturday

Inside Line Promotions – LONGVIEW, Texas (Nov. 3, 2014) – This Saturday will mark the final outdoor race of the season for Cody Freeman, who will venture to Mountain Creek Speedway in Grand Prairie, Texas, for the 4th annual Race on Dirt.

“I’m very excited,” he said. “We have a new motor in the car and I think that will really help us out.”

Freeman said his goal for Saturday’s micro sprint race will be to record a top five, which is well within his reach. Freeman has earned a top five in all seven races at Mountain Creek Speedway this season, including five podium finishes.

“Almost every time we go there it’s dry slick and I love a dry-slick track,” he said. “I think that’s the thing. I like a loose car because I feel like I’m best on a dry-slick track.”

Freeman added that his emphasis on Saturday is to be smooth.

“Just be consistent and hit your marks every time,” he said.

Freeman is riding the momentum of 10 top 10s in his last 11 races.
