Inside Line Promotions – GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (June 15, 2015) – Cody Freeman had a solid debut in his A Class micro sprint last Friday at Mountain Creek Speedway.

“The driving style is the biggest difference,” he said comparing the A Class to Restrictor. “The throttle is more touchy.”

Freeman was still getting the hang of it during a heat race, when he advanced from sixth to a fifth-place result. That relegated him to the B Main, where he maneuvered to a runner-up finish to garner a transfer into the main event.

“One of the things I learned was to keep the car on the bottom,” he said. “I passed a couple of cars and learned a lot.”

Freeman, who started the feature on the outside of the eighth row, battled just outside the top 10 for most of the main event before posting a 14th-place finish.

He will return to Mountain Creek Speedway this Friday.
