Inside Line Promotions – LONGVIEW, Texas (Aug. 3, 2015) – Cody Freeman will return to TOWR Series competition this Saturday at Kennedale Speedway Park.

Freeman enters the micro sprint event at the bullring in Kennedale, Texas, leading the restrictor championship standings.

“I haven’t won a championship so it would mean a lot,” he said. “It would give us a lot of momentum heading into next year as well.”

Freeman, who has earned two second-place finishes during his last four races, has recorded two wins and two second-place results during four TOWR events this season. He also picked up his first win of the season at Kennedale Speedway Park during his outdoor season debut in March.

“It’s kind of a big track,” he said. “I like smaller tracks where everyone is closer together and there’s a lot of racing. However, every time I race on a bigger track it helps me learn and improve as a driver.”

Saturday’s event marks the midpoint of the season for the series.
