Inside Line Promotions – LONGVIEW, Texas (Sept. 28, 2015) – Cody Freeman is prepared to take advantage of one final opportunity to compete on pavement this season.

Freeman, who is fresh off winning his first career micro sprint championship on dirt, is set to drive for Nesbitt Racing Enterprises for the second time this year when he makes his debut at Tri-County Motor Speedway in Hudson, N.C., on Saturday with the Southeast Super Truck Series.

“I want to thank Nesbitt Racing Enterprises for the opportunity and McCallister Precision Marketing for their hard work,” he said. “I learned a lot my first time racing with the team and I can’t wait to get back with them this weekend.”

Freeman posted a 15th-place result on June 6 at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Easley, S.C., during his inaugural race with the series.

“I ran a lot of laps and got a good feel for the truck so my hope is that I can pick up right where I left off,” he said. “Driving a truck on pavement is very different than a micro sprint on dirt so it takes time to adjust, but I feel more comfortable going into this weekend and I’m ready for the challenge.

“I can’t thank all of my sponsors enough for supporting me on this adventure. My goal is to run every lap and learn as much as I can.”
