Inside Line Promotions – LONGVIEW, Texas (July 8, 2014) – Cody Freeman will be back in action this weekend thanks to a quick turnaround from his parts manufacturers.
Freeman is slated to compete on Friday at Mountain Creek Speedway in Grand Prairie, Texas, where he has earned a pair of podium finishes this season.
“Everything looks really, really good for Friday night,” he said. “We’ve got a few minor things to finish up and we’re going to be ready to go. We want to give a lot of credit to Infinity Shocks for making it happen. It was amazing for that to happen.”
Freeman garnered a third-place finish at the track on May 30 before placing second the following weekend, which gives the team a boost heading into this Friday.
“Things have been going well at Mountain Creek,” he said. “I have an idea of how to drive the track and what we need to do.”
After taking a couple of weekends off to repair some mechanical issues, Freeman’s goal for this weekend is as high as ever.
“We want to take it,” he said. “We want to pull off our first feature win Friday night. We’re really, really confident.”
Additionally, he wants to thank his sponsors for being patient through the past month.
“All of them have been terrific understanding the situation,” he said. “We hope during the second half of the season we can get them in Victory Lane.”
