Inside Line Promotions – LONGVIEW, Texas (May 26, 2015) – Cody Freeman found a new opportunity last weekend as rain once again dampened the racing scene in Texas.

Freeman participated in an FHE USA marketing photo shoot on Saturday following another micro sprint race that was cancelled because of the weather.

“It was fun to take part in that,” he said. “We were there for a while and they got some cool pictures of me and the car.”

The team has also decided to reevaluate its schedule this season as new opportunities are beginning to present themselves.

Freeman is scheduled to make his A Class micro sprint debut on June 12 at Mountain Creek Speedway in Grand Prairie, Texas, where he has registered podium finishes during six of his eight races at the track last season in the restricted class.

This season Freeman has earned two feature wins and four top fives during five outdoor races. However, weather has kept the team from racing since April.
