Inside Line Promotions – LONGVIEW, Texas (Nov. 2, 2015) – Cody Freeman has a couple of exciting opportunities on tap.

“We’ve partnered to be a sponsored driver for Competitive Performance by Jason Myers,” he said. “He will be our engine guy for next year. He’ll be the one building our A Class and outlaw motors.”

Additionally, Freeman has landed another ride with Gengo Racing after last Saturday’s 12th annual Halloween Havoc was rained out at Gator Motorplex in Willis, Texas. The team will compete this Saturday at Boyd Raceway in Boyd, Texas, for the Fall Sprint Extravaganza.

“I’m excited to go to a new track,” he said. “Since it’s a new track, the goal is just to make the show and then hopefully earn a top 10.”

Freeman recorded a top-10 result during his A Class nonwing debut on Oct. 17 at Gator Motorplex. While it was his first career A Class nonwing race, it came at a track he’d raced at several times the past few years.

This Saturday’s event will mark Freeman’s first time competing at Boyd Raceway.

“We did surprisingly well for our first time in an A Class nonwing race at Gator Motorplex so hopefully we can put together another successful night during our first time at Boyd Raceway,” he said. “I want to thank everyone at Gengo Racing for the opportunity. It’s great to race with them.”
